I don’t think I’d do well fixing computers. Frankly, computers frustrate me. I can do a bit of easy coding and defrag my hard drive, but that’s about it. Back in the day, though, I had a clue. I was the one people called to fix most basic computer problems. Back then, the problems were mostly operator error. The computer users did dumb things and just didn’t understand the technology. I ended up telling people things like, “turn it on” or “plug it in.” This especially applied to the monitor or the printer. But today, it’s all over my head. I’d need years of computer repair training to catch up.
