When my son was little, he was the least coordinated kid in my neighborhood. He didn’t learn to ride a bike until he was eight, he couldn’t run very fast, and every time he tried to kick a ball he missed. I worried that other kids would tease him and he would get left out of all the activities at school, so I decided to find an Indianapolis Martial Arts program to enroll him in. I had heard that the sport could increase coordination, and I was not disappointed. Now he plays all kinds of sports, and he no longer thinks of himself as clumsy.
