It is good to teach children how to do integration. When studying mathematics, there are many things to learn and integration is one of them. Calculus is where you will learn all about integration and there are many techniques that you can learn.
Sometimes, children can get a better grasp of integration than grown ups can because they have an open mind so they can see what integration is and they can use anything that they know to find to what integrals of functions are.
Some integration problems are very hard or even impossible to solve and you need an open mind.
