Now that we have a high definition television, my wife and I recently asked ourselves what more we needed.  After all, we had great sound and fantastic pictures that popped off the screen with life and vibrancy.  Yesterday, it occurred to me that it would be nice to have a way to transfer movies or music from my computer in the office upstairs down to the great room where our entertainment center is located.  And that’s where wireless multimedia players come into the picture, so to speak.  These devices allow you to move all the things you have stored on your computer onto your high definition television–without cables or wires.  I know what I want for Christmas.

Though it was weird to be planning a tropical vacation during the sweltering heat of June, now that it is almost Halloween I am so psyched to be packing for my Cancun trip next month. Plus I was smart and got much of my wardrobe at end of season sales! I’ve been drooling just thinking about all the fresh delicious seafood I plan on gorging on, especially the shrimp ceviche. I may decide to take the glass bottom boat tour but mostly I will be shopping and lying on the powdery sand thinking about where and what my next meal will be!

 We have been going to trade shows for the last few years and really wanting to compete with our competition.  However, they seem to have so many fresh ideas each year that just blow us out of the water.  But this year we are putting an end to that and coming up with some cool ideas on our own.  We recently purchased an lcd stand for trade shows.  We are getting this really high quality video made that will hang on these stands.  It’s going to really pop and stand out from a lot of the other vendors that show up there.

Last night my kids and I had kind of a scary time. We had heard over the news networks that a female police officer was gunned down and was being rushed to the hospital. My wife is a police officer and this was one of the things that I had always feared. After making a couple of phone calls I found out that my wife was not the officer that was shot. When it comes to entertaining outside, there is no better place to do it than in your backyard, on your patio, or the deck, or even in the garden.  Personally, since we’ve got a really large back yard, with a nice creek running though it, I have worked hard to create a beautiful garden spot back near the creek, and that is where I would love to be able to entertain some of my friends or family during the spring and summer.  So, I’ve got to get the right garden furniture to go back there that will really make the space nice and cozy.
