I called up my girlfriend Sara and asked her can you be denied health insurance. She did not believe I could be and asked me why I was asking such a silly question. I then told her that since my husband lost his job, there is no insurance anymore and that the problem is that we both smoke. She then explained I may pay a higher premium, but to be denied she did not believe that would happen. I thanked her for her information.
