Until I had to do some research for a class at seminary, I had no idea why the dates of Easter change from year to year.  A rule exists that says Easter will be on the first Sunday following the first full moon, occuring no earlier than March 21.   The date is based on the Gregorian Calendar and must fall on a day not sooner than March 22 and not after April 25.  Most people assume that it is just a date chosen with no apparent rhyme or reason, but the calculations are actually quite scientific.  This was nothing I had ever thought about before, but was very interesting to learn.
