Living in the New Orleans area was a frightening experience for me. I was raised on a farm in the middle of Wisconsin, where everyone knew the neighbors for miles around. My experience in New Orleans convinced me that I needed protection. I did not want to purchase a gun, so I bought a stun gun, instead. This would be sufficient to protect me. It would give me enough time to get somewhere safe. I do not plan on going anywhere except to the local stores, but that is where most of the thieves hang out. Stun guns are wonderful means of protection.
