With terminal illnesses becoming more common, and the methods used to treat them becoming more and more expensive. Medical doctors are required to charge more for their services, leaving the general population of South Africa defenseless when it comes to paying for health insurance. Like America, South Africa has a public support plan. It is an option anyone can get. It is terribly easy to obtain and can be used to pay for anything related to the medical field. What funds are not used within the year of recieving benefits are not awarded to anyone.
