A growing phenomenon in today’s big rig trucks is the train horn. Truck train horns have become a very popular item in the big rigs traveling down US highways.  It seems to be more common in owner operator rigs than in the conventional freight line transit.  Owner operators have a sense of pride about their rigs that other drivers are not accustomed to. OTR drivers are installing these horns not only as a way to say, “look out, here I come” but rather as a way to say, “look out, and look at me!”  The horns definitely grab your attention.
